If you're thinking about living in Weston, you certainly need to check out The Landings. It's a smaller guard gated community, and the homes and lots are bigger than most of the neighborhoods around it.

Welcome to The Landings
So, The Landings only has 242 single family homes, in three neighborhoods, Egret Landing, Mallard Landing and Pelican Landing. It's a lot smaller than most of the gated communities in Weston.
The county shows most of the homes went up between 1994 and 1997. The homes are big, around 3,600 square feet up to about 5,600, and the median is about 4,300. The lots are bigger too, about a third of an acre for the typical home.
A lot of the homes in Mallard Landing are on the lake. If you want more house and more yard without going all the way up to an estate community, you certainly need to check out The Landings.
